Welcome to E&J Contemporary Singing Method. We are pleased to offer you access to the Service, subject to these terms and conditions (the “Terms of Service”) and the applicable E&J Contemporary Singing Method Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy.“). By accessing and using the Service, you express your consent to, agreement with and understanding of the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

 

 

1. BOOKING: 

 

1.1 Lessons must be booked within 48 hours of being offered or otherwise they will be offered to another student.
This also applies to rescheduled lessons.

2. PAYMENTS:

​

2.1 Payments can be made in person with cash or via bank transfer or Paypal. 

​

For your convenience, data privacy and tranquility, credit card and debit card payments will be made through PayPal, in order to provide you reliability.

3. Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:

​

3.1 CANCELLATION BY THE STUDENT:

 

-Lessons cancelled/rescheduled with 48 or more hours notice will not be charged

 

-Lessons cancelled/rescheduled with between 48 and 24 hours notice will be charged half the lesson fee

 

-Lessons cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full lesson fee

3.2 Cancellation by the Teacher:

 

Lessons cancelled/rescheduled by the teacher will be re-arranged at a time mutual to both parties. 
We will endeavor to give as much notice as possible in the event this occurs.

4. Refunds:

​

4.1 We will not offer a refund on any lessons, including those cancelled or missed. 

 

4.2 Rescheduled lessons on behalf of the student or teacher will remain at the length of time and price originally booked.

5. Attendance:

​

 Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your lesson to avoid lengthy waiting times. 

​

5.1 Lesson time will not be made up if you are late and your lesson will end at the scheduled.

​

5.2 If you miss your lesson completely, your lesson will be forfeit and not refunded or rescheduled.

​

5.3 If the teacher is running late, you will receive your full lesson time.

6. Running Time:

​

 Teaching will end approximately 5-7 minutes before time to allow for questions.

​

7. Rights and Discretion:

​

 ALL of your personal details will be held in the strictest confidence.

8. Exceptional Circumstances:

​

8.1 The teacher reserves the right to refuse to teach any student that is contagiously ill, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or exhibiting violent behavior.

​

8.2 The teacher reserves the right to stop a lesson at any point should they feel it is necessary. In the event this happens during a period of recovering from an illness, the remaining portion of the lesson will be rescheduled at a time suitable for both parties.

​

8.3 The teacher reserves the right to refuse or discontinue lessons with any student for any reason at their discretion.
